Salt Water Fuel

Foretold reminded me of a few very cool sciencey techie things I heard about a while ago, in addition to things I’ve never heard about.

The video above is about this amazing inventor who discovered that salt water – just regular old salt water – can be used as fuel.  He figured out how to make salt water burn.  If they can figure out how to make this more practical, then can you imagine?  Most of the earth is covered with salt water!  Whoowhee!

Thanks foretold!  :)

This reminded me of a quote hanging up in my English class: “The solution to any problem is salt water; sweat, tears, or the sea.” Who would have thought that it very well may be? :)

I forgot to mention that there’s still like 1 open question to it: can one actually get more power out of it than you need to put in it in form of radio waves?

Here’s another cool energy and garbage-crisis solving invention: There is some engineer who found a way to produce diesel fuel out of general domestic waste with almost no preprocessing required in an ecological and economicly benificial way. AND they actually managed to leave the prototype stage behind, build a small company and get a few processing plants work all over the world. Here’s a report on German TV with subtitles: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJQuVkwkp3A

the technical stuff:
The best part of it is that it really works well with almost anything biological (animals, plants, wood-made) and crude oil-made (plastics, rubber, foams, leftover pharmaceutical and cosmetical products, tar & bitumen etc). It tries to replicate the process of the natural crude-oil genesis and massively accelerating it with some magic mineral catalysts (no, there is no kryptonite involved in it) while avoiding high temperatures and pressures.

here’s the site of this German company: alphakat.de/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&Itemid=63

I actually found out about it while chatting with my neighbour, who holds a university diploma(quiet similar to a master degree) in chemical engineering. She told me that despite this being successful in many countries and further plants are being planed, this kind of technology is a bit suppressed in some places, especially here in Germany. see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXk6iO-pKaM

I also hope I’ve not been to boring or nerdy to all you people.

His findings/ inventions are amazing, realistic and the resource is everywhere…now…I hope it’s enough renewable in order to not someday over exploit water!

I hope this product will continue to exist, and may all experts find more ways to earn and save money from our daily expenses.
Of course it is possible! Many experts nowadays invented machines and gadgets on how to save money from our bills and daily expenses. This is a good news for everyone.
