Mika, 6, and Anna-Bell, 5, were stopped by police at a train station in Germany as they made their way to Africa to elope in the sun.  The two lovebirds packed swimsuits and sunglasses, and even remembered to bring an official witness – Anna-Bell’s 7 year-old sister.  But alas, they didn’t pack tickets and money, and the police persuaded the intrepid trio that they wouldn’t get far without these things.

To help soften the children’s disappointment, the officers gave them a tour of the police station, where they were soon picked up by their relieved parents.

That is too cute, little kids and their simplicity is so refreshing.
Although I am surprised that the little boy was okay with getting married, usually boys at that age are afraid of girl cooties.

oh yeah, that was in the evening news a couple of weeks ago here in Germany.

they tried to travel to Africa twice! their second trip lasted even shorter than the first one, lol. crazy kids, sweet story though.
