WTF: French Fry Coated Hot Dog

My sister sent me a link to this website called This Is Why You’re Fat, which posts pictures submitted by people of food that could very well move you to the top of the list for triple-bypass heart surgery. This email has circulated among my entire family, and except for one relative who shall remain unnamed, the rest of us agree that the majority of the food depicted on the site is – to put it bluntly – gross. HOWEVER, a healthy debate has broken out about one particular specimen: The French Fry Coated Hot Dog on a Stick.
This is actually a real piece of food that people buy and sell. My brother saw it while he was in South Korea, which is somewhat enamored of mechanically separated meat products like SPAM and hot dogs, and the wide variety of ways you can eat them, as you can see below:

The other object of debate is the Deep Fried Mars Bar, which they sell at A Salt and Battery in NYC, but I have always been too chicken to try it. lol.
