Mari’s Mazing Mursdays: I’m Bored Edition
Bom dia, GbD!
It’s SUNNY out! Not really that warm, but it’s SUNNY! Such a pity to waste it inside working, alas here I am. The things I do for you guys, pfffft! Well, and I guess I also do it in order to pay the rent, bills…food and all.
ANYWAY, the point of today’s Mursday is…. what does one do when they’re stuck at work/home/wherever and they’re bored? What do YOU guys do? Me? Well, since I work on the computer, I usually check out seemingly useless websites, that will keep me preeeeetty entertained for hours. I kid you not. Let me give you some examples of amaaaaazing websites you should all check out.
ONTD - This one is full of celeb gossip. Not like the magazines you find at the grocery store. This site is pure gold. All content is community based; all the members contribute. Most of the times I’m not even that interested in the story itself, but what the members have to say. They can be quite harsh at times, but most of the times it’s just downright hilarious. And lets not forget the memes they come up with! Like most members added an Aretha hat to their icons, and how now they’re starting to add swine flu masks to their icons too! Heh. No idea what I’m talking about? Well, go check it out for yourself! OH and have I mentioned they managed to single handedly break livejournal due to the millions of comments? Yup.
FML – Heh, I know a bunch of you is already familiar with this site. People giving us permission to laugh at their misery… need I say more? If for some reason the answer yes, then here is a snippet juuuuust for you: “Today, I was taking the subway to work when I saw a really hot girl. Noticing that she, like me, had a Dunkin Donut’s coffee, I tried to start a conversation by saying, “Is that Double D’s you have there?” She didn’t pick up that I was talking about the Coffee. FML”
Barney’s Blog – WHAT? He is legen…wait for it and I hope you’re not lactose intolerant cos the second part is DARY! If you don’t know who Barney Stinson is you are missing out big time. Plus, we can’t be friends anymore.
Texts from last night – This, my children, is why you should not drink…. evah. Or your texts could end up on that website. True story… happened to a bunch of mostly drunk people.
Pandemic 2 – Um, this might not be the most appropriate game seeing as we’re dealing with the swine flu at the moment buuuuuuuuuut, addicting game is addicting! Basically what you do is make up your own disease, and then try to wipe out the world! Heh. And hope that Madagascar won’t close their only port as soon as somebody starts coughing in Brazil.
Cyanide & Happiness - Inappropriately funny comics. You can’t go wrong with that.
