Trippin’ with Susana: Washington – Part 2 of 2
Wassuuuuup GBD! Susana’s back to tell us about the rest of her trip to Washington. Here’s Part 1 if you missed it last week.
******************************
After Ruby Beach, we went to see more sites around the little town and spotted the truck that Bella has in the movie. Okay okay…it’s not the same exact one since Kristen Stewart bought the original one, but hey it’s almost the same. We posed in front of it with a cute little sign.

Then we spotted the sign for the Forks High School in front of the high school they have in that town, even though it’s not the same one in the movie (they filmed those scenes in Canada). The real high school is tiny. We took photos of it and some other town stuff as well:

We also went to this little shop that literally had every Twilight thing you could want. They even had autographs of the cast and a T-shirt with the photo of one of the werewolves named Sam, who signed it. They have really cool stuff, and my sister (who is sooo in love with everything Twilight) bought 2 sweaters that say Team Edward. We also took a photo of this cool looking log thingy.

Then we went to T.J.’s Sweet Shop where they have the most delicious sweets ever from chocolate to ice cream to candy. They even have Stephenie Meyers’ autograph. My sister bought this little package of chocolates (that were delicious) – each chocolate was named after Bella, Edward, and Jacob. It was really cute.
Then we went back to our cabin and ended our day there. It was still really fun because it was so small and cozy. We ended up seeing squirrels and other little critters.

The next day we ended up going to La Push Beach, which has 3 beaches but we only went the one where they filmed the movie (#2). It was sooooo beautiful and amazing. The wind was crazy cold, and we ended up having to leave because it was too much, but it was still worth it. Oh, and we also caught some sights on the way to La Push Beach. By the way, you have to walk a long long way to get La Push, so again plan ahead before going.

After that we went to Cape Flattery or as the locals call it “The End of The World” – so named because it’s the most northwestern part of the continental U.S. So we hiked there for an hour and ended up at “The End of the World,” which is soooooooo beautiful and well worth the walk. The scenery is so freaking pretty. You also pass so many people when your walking, and all of them say “Hi” to you. It’s so cool to see so many nice people. You won’t see that in Utah. lol. So I was really surprised. Anyway, at the end of the hike you have to climb this little hill-top thingy, and when you look down, all around you is just water. You can see seals and just so many animals. And far ahead there was a tiny little island with a lighthouse. It was so foggy that it looked cool – like in a movie.

The last thing we went to was The Hoh Rainforest, where we saw a moose. It was such a beautiful place to go to hike and see the most incredible landsacpes and green all around.

Okay that is it for my trip. I hope you enjoyed that and felt like you were there alongside me and my family. Thank you, and until my next trip this is Susana.
