Here’s what Mia has to say:

1. How do you think people perceive you and how is it different from the way you perceive yourself?
   People see me as someone who is tough, happy, and carefree. However, what they never really know is that I also have fears, and am very emotionally weak. But now, I am facing my fears and I try not to be emotional.

2. Which of your irrational fears is the silliest?
   Heights. Every time I’m on a building or any skyscraper, I can feel my knees shiver and can’t dare look down (but I always wanna try bungee-jumping one day). And eight-legged freaking spiders. I used to play with spiders before, but when my cousin accidentally swallowed one it made his throat sensitive until now, in his early 30s. Silly, but I’m trying to overcome it.

3. What is the most time-consuming activity you participate in?
   Time-consuming, yet fun. I was taking charge of this group of pre-teens and teens with 3 boys and the rest are girls, and we were all laminating our pictures on a plate. We have to do it right or bye-bye to our treasured photos. So, after we put this liquid thing over our pictures (that were pasted on the plate with pebbles, fresh flowers, leaves, etc.), we had to patiently wait for two hours to have them completely dried and hardened – by the heat of the sun. Time-consuming, eh?

4. What is the greatest lesson you have learned from a child?
   How to eat an Oreo cookie. Seriously, I seldom eat chocolate cookies.

5. If you could wave a magic wand and ask for whatever you wanted, what would you ask for?
   Unveiling peoples’ eyes to see that this world is indeed a beautiful place to live in without discrimination, hatred, strife, and war.

6. What is the most beautiful moment you have ever experienced?
   The most beautiful moment I have personally experienced was when I was with men and women my age go to a war-stricken place and fast and pray for revival in their place.

7. What are you most grateful for?
   Life, and the fact that I am still living to see and meet people who have lots to share about life and living.
