Here’s what Elodie from France has to say:

Elodie

  1. How do you think people perceive you and how is it different from the way you perceive yourself?
I think people perceive me as a kind girl, always smiling and mature. I see myself that way, but there is another side in which I fear being with a group of people, of being self-confident, and of expressing my thoughts because I’m afraid of being judged or saying something that people would think is silly. I would like to change this and not be afraid to be me.

  2. Which of your irrational fears is the silliest?
The silliest fear I have is that I’m affraid of being alone somewhere. I’m claustrophobic so when I go to the dentist or to a friend’s house, I can’t take the elevator. So I have to go up by the stairs even if this I need to get to the top floor. I was stuck one time and couldn’t get out. I had to wait until someone came to help. However, I can do it if someone is with me.

  3. What is the most time-consuming activity you participate in?
I love sports. When I have the time I usually go for a run twice a week. I attended gym class and classical dance class when I was younger. I’m interested in every type of sport. Lately I’ve tried yoga and I found the way to completely relax my mind and body at the same time. Now that I have to go back to school I’ll have less time to do it.

  4. What is the greatest lesson you have learned from a child?
What I have learned from a child is that life is too short to not enjoy it fully. We don’t know what the future is made of, but we already know our past and history. I prepare myself for the future to be okay with who I am and accept that I’ve changed a lot since my childhood. Growing up is a part of life. We just don’t think about it as a child, but a lot as an adult.

  5. If you could wave a magic wand and ask for whatever you wanted, what would you ask for?
I would definitely ask to fly so I can go wherever and whenever I want to.

  6. What is the most beautiful moment you have ever experienced?
The most beautiful moment I have ever experienced was in Ireland. I was an au pair. I didn’t want to do it before, but today I think it was an amazing experience.

  7. What are you most grateful for?
Knowing that people care about me and that I care about helping others.

Hey there!…these are very insightful answer’s. I think we can all relate being afraid of expressing our self’s in certain situations. I used to change myself in order to be liked, even by people I didnt like or share the same values with, it was exhausting trying to be everything to everyone…then I realized that its ok not to be liked by everyone, its not about quantity its about quality relationships.

Thanks for share yourself! xD.
I am agree with Kendra, it is not about quantity, it is about quality. And it is difficult to be always ourself, for everyone. But If it was easy It would be worthless. Thats the way it is need to be.
Always learning! BY

Great Sexy 7 Elodie! *S*

I think that’s what we, as humans, struggle with the most. Fitting in! As Kendra says we want to be everything to everyone. I think that when we socialize, meet people, and all, we’re always taking a risk of being liked or not being liked but that’s okay, because at least we’ll be able to establish relationships with people in which we’re actually comfortable in and are being ourselves. Always be true to yourself and don’t be afraid to be who you are. It’s always a risk we take with people, but a risk well worth taking. People will like you best for being who you are than for being someone you’re not. :D
