Here’s what Rosemarie has to say:

1. How do you think people perceive you and how is it different from the way you perceive yourself?
   I think people perceive me as the calm, mellow, quiet, shy girl who likes to draw and lacks…emotion? A lot of folks say I remind them of Eeyore (from Winnie the Pooh), which I take as a compliment because he’s the cutest. Most people don’t know that I’m a gangsta ninja.

2. Which of your irrational fears is the silliest?
   I can’t think of any right now, but when I was like 4 or 5 I watched this vampire movie and it terrified me to death! It was hard to sleep, and when I did finally knock out, I would have nightmares…but that’s not the irrational fear. My irrational fear was giving people hugs because I thought if I got too close they would bite my neck. I got over it though after watching Buffy. She was like my hero.

3. What is the most time-consuming activity you participate in?
   I wish it was sleep! I’m so tired all the time, but I guess the most time-consuming activity I participate in is homework, which includes TV and music because I need distractions to concentrate! It’s weird.

4. What is the greatest lesson you have learned from a child?
   Puppy dog eyes or a smile usually does the charm.

5. If you could wave a magic wand and ask for whatever you wanted, what would you ask for?
   If I could wave a magic wand and ask for whatever I wanted, I would ask for more wands because there’s no way I could choose! But I’m guessing that’s not allowed, so I would ask for more time in my life to do what I want/need to do. There are over 6 billion people in the world and a bunch of places to see! Oh and world peace…and some soul food for dinner on Fridays! Maybe some shoes and a driver’s license.

6. What is the most beautiful moment you have ever experienced?
   My cousin getting married? My niece being baptized? The Bay Bridge? I honestly don’t know. Those are just snapshots of my life. Snapshots that build a lifetime and if you compare a lifetime with time in general, it’s only a moment. I guess my life is the most beautiful moment I’ve ever and will continue to experience.

7. What are you most grateful for?
   I’m grateful for everyone who’s ever passed my way. Most people bring me joy by entering my life, and the rest bring me joy when they leave it. It’s a win-win sort of thing. I’m also grateful for the ability of lucid dreaming because if we have to spend a third of our life asleep, it’s nice to know that the rules of reality don’t apply and we can be perfectly content.
