Cassie: Say What?!

You guys didn’t believe little ‘ole Binks when she said she’d post submissions about your lfie, did ya? DID YA?! Well I’m here to prove you wrong, gosh darnit! The awesome Cassie has sent in a small blurb that allows us some insight into her world (and I think it’s something many can relate to or possibly will, sometime in the future). Not only did she send us a little experience, but sent in a neat poster she painted herself! LOOKEY! (The main pic you see up here above this post ^^^ and right below for better view). ISN’T IT COOL!? I wish I could draw like that, but alas I shall stick with posts for now…until world domination, at least. So without further ado, I give you Cassie!

Hi,

My name is Cassie and I guess this is my “Say What” blog. I’m going to say a few things today, bad and good. Well, the bad news first…I just found out my ex-boyfriend has a new girlfriend, this made me angry lol. Of course it would, though, right? Haha. I punched my pillow…But it had cute Jacob Black’s face on it, so I stopped….Anyways…I’ll get over that. It just got to me, you know? Not the Jacob Black thing, I mean, he’s just a stuffed pillow…But the other Jake, my ex. I hate that it got to me; I mean, this kid tore my heart into 16 pieces, left me all alone and now is prancing around with a new gf. My friends apparently knew too, but they didn’t tell me because, well, they’re really good friends and knew it would bother me. So now, I’m trying to get over that; it’s okay, he’s not as hot as the OTHER-ahem, Jacob (the one I so harshly punched).

On another note, I’ve just joined karate and they say it’ll boost my confidence and make me feel better. I sure hope it does lol.

~Cassie

So, peeps, have you been in a similar situation as Cassie’s ? Why do you think cool chicks like ourselves get angry in the first place? What other emotions run through ya? Why do you think that is? What can you do (apart from pillow hitting) to alleviate the situation?

Oooo so many questions…hopefully, many plausible answers *looks at comments*

Remember! You can share your life experiences, thoughts, ideas, and any form of expression too! Just a simple email to bianca@girlsbydesign.com is all it takes. “That’s it Binks!?” “Yup, that’s it” “Holy smokes! I wanna send something in!” <–See? Easy. :)

It’ll get better Cassie. :) And if you’ve just joined karate, that’s a really great outlet! :D

I can’t say I’ve ever been on this situation but I guess I would feel hurt and upset if it happened too fast, you know? Where the anger comes from I have not a clue but I guess that it just builds up out of little things that bother us until something happen that this huge mess of anger comes out? (Hope this makes sense lol). We girls (at least me) get sad but I just think that’s our hormones. lol

A remedy for emotions? Exercise! That is my outlet and it definitely makes me feel better.

I think we get angry because we cannot stand injustice. I don’t blame you for punching the pillow Cassie, I probably would have punched the real person..
I always talk to close friends because they help me keep my mind off situations if I’m angry. I agree with Jenipher, exercise is also a good way to blow off steam. But most of all, tell yourself that he’s just not worth it!

I want to hear the egg plan ;)

@ Cassie – I remember when I experienced my first broken heart! It hurt a lot, as a matter of fact I don’t remember a time since that hurt as much as being dumped by my very first boyfriend.

I think the break up scared me, it’s when I realized that nothing was ever certain and that no matter how much I loved someone it didn’t mean that they would love me back, and that scared me! Then I got angry, angry at the world and at him, angry that this person wasn’t the person I thought they were and that the world was full of these curve balls that I had doge.

I will leave you with these ~ ‘Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.~ Alfred Lord Tennyson
