The Trick Behind the Treat

Guess who decided she would try and be healthier and got the 100-calorie Oreo Cakesters for a snack at work and guess who ended up eating the whole damn box, because they were so small. That’s right, ME! THEY ARE WEIGHT GAIN EVIL!! EVIL, I TELL YA! Not my kind of evil, either…Which is very un-cool.
You all must be familiar with those hundred-calorie snacks, right? They take the junkiest of junk food and SOMEHOW make it into itty, bitty, bite-size snacks that are worth only 100 calories. LIES, I TELL YOU! LIES! By the time you’re done with those things, you will have consumed more calories than if you had the normal-calorie version!
Alas, that is not the point of this blog. No, no, it was merely to get us on topic and give you one of my blunders, because I promised a blunder a week. Well, there is it, ladies! You know what this mean, though. You ladies must give me something in return and this week, I ask for your opinion on those blasted things. Why do you think a person ends up eating more of the hundred-calorie snacks than the normal versions? They taste the same, they are the same basic thing, only smaller. Why do we gorge on those things?!
That is all for this week, but be ready next week for AP Fire Safety! Ooooo, FUN!
P.S. Your hands aren’t clean until you’ve sang the “Happy Birthday” Song at least twice! Experts say that you have to wash your hands with warm water and soap for the duration of that song sung two tiiiimes. TWOOOO TIIIIMES.
