College Experience Vlog #3: Read! Read!

Hey ladies!

In the midst of trying to have everything back, I’m trying to give every single thing a spotlight, that’s why you’ll see a PI, College Exp. Vlog or random stuff I put in each week. :)

Btw, the “What Makes You…You” are still around so if you still want to do that, feel free to send yours in! If you want to find out more about this feel free to check the info out here!

So in the vlog I only compiled 3 tips that help me in my studying. These tips not only help you in college, but in high school as well!

I know you’ve got your own tips to put in here so feel free to share away what tips best work for you!

Have a great day! Adios for now. :D

Great tips! This is my 3rd year of college, and those tips are the foundation of having a good college experience. Although I have slacked of a few times. Teachers can definitely tell when you haven’t done the reading!
I’m working on my what makes you…you project, hopefully I’ll be done soon, so I can send it in. :D

The Iliad! Will you be reading The Odyssey as well? Or have you already read it? *gets lit nerd on*

I’ve ALWAYS struggled with that last one. I don’t know why, but I’ve just always pictured teachers as looking down on students who don’t get it right away. Maybe because a lot of the teachers I’ve had groan when a student asks something, lol. Great tips!

Great tips! Going off the first tip…DON’T PROCRASTINATE! This applies not only to reading for school but to life in general. Even if it’s something you don’t want to do, sometimes it’s easier just to tackle it head on and get it over with than to rush through it later and potentially cause more problems.

@Alyssa: Oh I know! Today, one of my teachers did a debate on the reading because most people hadn’t read! LOL

I’m sure your project will be pure awesomeness! :D

@G: Yes, The Iliad is in the works :) The Odyssey will be for next semester’s class.

About asking, I can’t say it was easy for me getting used to it but in the end I thought: “well this is for my own benefit so I’ll just go ahead and do it” and being driven by that thought I just ask. :) And if teachers have that attitude well…he’ll just have to deal with it because he chose that profession which is to?….TEACH! So he has a duty to make sure the students have understood the material. :)
