One thing has become amazingly evident during these Winter Olympics and that is the fact that girls have been kicking some major butt! Heck, I just saw 3 different female bobsled teams break records one after the other a few short hours ago. Therefore, I want to hear about your favourite girls kickin’ it moment thus far in The Olympics! OK, GO!

Oh and GO CANADA GO!!

I’m answering anyways! My most favourite moment thus far (out of sooo many) just happened. Clara Hughes(37) won a bronze, finishing behind a 21 and 23-year-old in the 5000m! Why else is it so awesome? Well, Clara Hughes is the first athlete ever to have multiple medals in the summer and winter Olympics. One of her 6 medals even gold :P

I am amazed by the women who are shattering records and becoming inspiring role models. One of my favorite moments so far, and you’re right, there have been soooo many awesome moments, is when Joannie Rochette skated just days after losing her mother. I watched with tears in my eyes, because I am so close to my Mom and I could only imagine having the courage and the strength that she has shown.

I know my mommy cried as soon as she took the ice, lol. I am so proud of our Canadian women!

I have to go with Joannie Rochette also. Her performance was beautiful, and like Jen said she has a lot of courage and strength. God-forbid, but if anything happened to my mom I wouldn’t be able to get out of bed let alone skate such an amazing performance.

Shame on me, but I haven’t watched any women’s events besides figure skating. Maybe I’ll try to catch some events in the next few days. :)

My favorite moment was watching Torah Bright of Australia do the snowboard halfpipe. Her first run she fell down twice, and never stopped smiling. The second run she did was flawless and won her the gold.

I thought that was quite amazing. :)

I liked watching Elana Meyers and Erin Pac win bronze in the bobsled (Meyers is a Georgia girl so I have mad love for her) and I was really excited when Lindsey Vonn won her gold, that was her dream and she got it. Her reaction was hilarious too :P

Also I didn’t see Rochette skate live but I saw clips of it on NBC and I was really moved even with just those short clips…she’s amazing for being able to go out and do that after what she’s been through the past few days. Major respect for her!

and that’s all, THE END :D

Our Canadian women are amazing! And tonight everyone tune if for women’s figure skating…our Canadian gal can use all the support she can get after her mom just suddenly died of a heart attack.
