Heya GBD!

How’ve y’all been? Good, I hope. What have you been up to? Mischief? Pranks? Plans for world domination? Oh no wait, that’s just me.

Anywho, I’m sure all of you at some point have had meaningful conversations with some peeps, what have you guys taklked about and with who?

Do you like having deep conversations? Why? What does a “deep conversation” mean to you? Who do you usually have them with and why? I know I’ve talked to my best friend about some pretty deep stuff, and it’s usually interesting what other peeps have to say as opposed to your point of view soooo what have you been talking about? It’s always fun to share!

Share it here! :D

I usually have deep conversations with my friends in small groups. The funny thing is, they usually occur late at night! They often involve things that I have a hard time talking about in general, but when you’re tired and with people you know very well and trust, the walls come down.:)

I have crazy deep discussions when I’m with my close friends and something big happens! Other than that everything just spills at night when I’m insanely tired and can’t keep track of what I’m saying! You’re not alone @Laurenelle lol!
And where’s your big commment G??? :P hahaha *crickets* to you ;P

Love the pic you chose for this :D . I actually have meaningful conversations mostly with my mom just because I feel like literally she has gone through everything from ups & downs bad & ugly. So anything I go through she has either gone through or knows about it so I just love sitting down with her & talking getting to share my feelings with her along with my older sister who I also see as knowing more then me & being very mature for her 20 year old self.

Like a lot of you said I usually have deep conversatiosn with my friends too. They mainly happen when a bunch of spend the night together and we tal for hours. Sometimes we end up crying and other we times we end up laughing until our cheeks hurt! But even though it can go both ways they’re the best conversations we ever have. You can get things off your chest and talk to a bunch of people who you know trust you, wont judge and are more than happy to listen. To me that’s one of the most important things in life; finding someone to listen.
Other times we could end up laughing at nothing for hours! This usually ends up with someone coming down from upstairs telling us to be quiet! :P The next day you look back on what you were doing and end up laughing all day again! :P

I find my deep conversations often involve talking about emotions, ideas, creativity, my goals and where I want my life to go, and all kinds of other things.
I have these talks with my Mom and my boyfriend, the two people who know me best, and also with a couple of close friends.
It takes trust to take a conversation deeper than the two-dimensional “what we did last weekend” or “who she’s dating”. There is always a chance you’ll be judged based on your opinions, so I think those who form opinions and express them instead of taking the easy way out are inspiring.

Deep discussions! I Lovee themm!!!

Without them i would go crazy. having small talk is fun, but sometimes a gals gotta have a deep discussion. Small talk can only teach you so much about a person, it takes more than a “Hi, how are you” kinda conversation to learn about people’s morals, values, and personality.

I love talking with my dad about things. I normally get into discussions with him on religion stuff. I also love talking to one of my dear friends, Dan, about, well… everything :)

@ jen- i agree, forming your own opinions and expressing them is super inspiring.

@Laurenelle – Omg yes! whenever I get really tired all my secrets and kept up emotions and all my opinions come flowing out. So whenever I’m at sleepovers and it’s like 4am…. I usually say something that sparks a really good convo :)

All deep conversations are usually between best of best friends and they usually occur in times where no one else is around. I don’t know why. But recently I have talked to my best friend about dating like what is to be expected, if you should let a guy kiss you on the first date and if your older than 20, if you should ever do the dirty with him. I know freaky. But it happened, and it was a deep conversation between me and my best friend Sarah.
