That’s Cool
I don’t get it anymore! When I was younger, I used to be soooo in to trying to keep up with what was “cool” and a few years ago, I just gave up and said to heck with it. “Cool” is always changing and I honestly am just too lazy to care anymore. It’s just like with fashion. My gawd, this is in, then that’s in and what was in before is horribly taboo. Gah, ENOUGH! But I ask you this, ladies, who defines these things?! Who decides what’s in and what’s “cool”? HUH?! HUH?! And why do we feel the need to follow every trend as if we’re its slaves.
If cool told you it was “cool” to run into oncoming traffic, would you do it? If cool told you it would be “cool” to drink some else’s spit, would you do it? Why does “cool” get to call the shots? It seems to be that cool has more control over the people than the people do over cool. Maybe cool should start using its powers for good and try to bring awareness to issues around the world. I think cool is quite content watching us all run around like chickens with no heads to appease it, though. Baaaaad cool. BAD!
