Hey, girls! Last week I didn’t get to write, I was super bummed that I didn’t get to, since I love writing on here. I unfortunately didn’t have internet up because, guess what??! I FINALLY MOVED!!!! Yay! I was talking about that a while back, but it finally happened.
I’m finally where I wanted to be and it feels great, although, the time difference (even though it’s just an hour) is still not catching up to me, I love it here. I can’t get enough of it, I mean: it’s beautiful, the people are super nice and the weather is just…to die for! I finally made it to where I saw the rest of my life being and I’m officially here! Although, I’m still having a hard time with the traffic of Seattle and the weird way the streets are and the way they curve, I’m getting the hang of it, though. The bad thing is, in our 2 bedroom apartment, I have to share with my older sister which I don’t mind at all, we only have one closet and all of our clothes don’t fit! Can you say “yikes”??
Anywho, I just wanted to update you girls on how the process is going.
Well, I had to go get my license to have one from Washington and I have got to say, this reminded me why I hate the DLD. The lines are like *fist palm to the head* shocking! I was probably in line for about 3 hours before my number got called and then another hour just to get all of my paperwork finished….*sigh*……and what sucks on top of all that is that I have to wait 2 weeks to actually even receive my permanent one (since they give you a temporary one that is paper) Oi! It’s so much work just to get a pretty little license, but I finally got it and I finally made it…can you say “EEEK”? Lol.
Also, we are literally, like, 2 minutes from the beach, this amazingly beautiful beach that just is stunning. It’s too cold to actually get in, because of the weather, it’s been around 65-70 Farenheit all summer long, so, it’s beautiful weather (kind of chilly to most ppl that like 80-90 F weather). If you don’t like cold weather then you really wouldn’t like Washington. The people are unbelievably nice it’s kind of weird, but I love it; it’s a step up from what I used to have. All of the places are small and cute and everyone knows almost everyone, it’s so cute.
Anyway, sorry to blurb about everything, but I just wanted to let you guys in on what has been going on and hopefully soon post pics of beautiful Seattle & the Space Needle (which hopefully will be next week’s post)
. Also, we might take the ferry to Kingston so that should be interesting (I will also post pics of that).
Well, girlies, my question this week (’cause you know I got to do one every week) is what has been the 1 (only one) thing thus far that you have done in your life that you said, “I made it!?” if you haven’t had one yet, well, what would be the one that would make you say that?
Post away, gals!

July 22, 2010Congrats on your move to Washington, it must be soo exciting! I hope to visit Seattle at some point this year.
I haven’t had that moment yet, but I imagine that I’ll know that I have made it when I wake up in the morning completely excited to go to work. So when I have a job/career that I absolutely adore!
