Hey Ladies!

Update from me: I know it’s been a while, I’ve been super busy with school and I just landed a really cool job so I’ve been swamped with both things. School’s been going great, I’m on my College English Compistion and Writing, and that’s been going pretty good. Also, I’ve been getting crazy hours at work so it’s been really hard to actually spend any time online, but I’m back at writing for the awesome GBD. Sorry for the long wait.

Anyway, back to my blog this week. So I came across this really cool article about the “10 Most Unforgettable Getaways in the Most Secluded Hotels in the World” from The Travelers Zone and I just HAD to show you girls :) .

# 10: Goes to Crescent Moon Cabins, Riviere La Croix, Dominica

Set in a tropical garden, the Crescent Moon Cabins are a unique, serene experience situated in the foothills of Morne Trois Pitons National Park

Surrounded by natural vegetation, this hotel has hiking, hidden waterfalls, and even ancient ruins to explore in the valley. With organic greenhouse, milking goals, and homemade cocoa and coffee, you’ve got an oasis adventure second to none.

This just sounds amazing!! I soooo want to go

# 9: Goes to The Garvault Hotel, Britain

Called mainland Britain’s most remote hotel, the Garvault Hotel is small and inviting with just eight letting rooms in all. With nature all around, including wild Red Deer and birds, this is also a haven for fly fishers.

Walk Stathnaver trail or take a stroll around Falls of Shin and drink in the quiet, peaceful tranquility that this location has to offer.

Pretty awesome if you are into the whole fishing thing.

# 8: Goes to La Torre Del Visco, Spain

Self-described as Spain’s most remote hotel, this hotel is a solitary, century estate house that’s been transformed into a luxurious hotel surrounded by olive and almond trees on 220 acres of land.

With former guests including the King and Queen of Spain, and kudos from such travel reviewers are Conde Nast and National Geographic, it’s no surprise this is a favorite among discerning travelers.

Wow it has even had famous people, it sounds beautiful and very very expensive lol.

# 7: Goes to Redoubt Bay Lodge, Alaska

Get lost in this 171,000 acre critical habitat area that Redoubt Bay Lodge calls home. Situated 50 minutes from Anchorage, you’ll find a rustic lodge overlooking Big River Lakes.

You can take a float plane around Cook Inlet or hike around to see wild bears. Spend time in your guest cabin or tour around the lakes in a kayak or canoe.

Can you say “Wow” that sounds so secluded and peaceful. I love outdoor stuff!

# 6: Goes to Lake Vyrnwy Hotel & Spa, Llanwddyn

Steal away from reality at Lake Vyrnwy Hotel and Spa, a fairytale tower hotel getaway.

It boasts 24,000 acres of nature reserve, breathtaking views of the lake, as well as fantastic food made with local ingredients.

Aww this reminds me of Heidi the animated movie. Very awesome.

# 5: Goes to Fjällnäs Reserve, Sweden

As the oldest mountain hotel in Sweden, the Fjällnäs Reserve, which is located in 1,700 acres of land in the Arctic Circle, was originally built in 1882.

The area is home to more than 60 mountain peaks, 300 km of prepared Nordic ski trails, hiking trails, and more. Here, they celebrate 8 seasons.

8 Seasons!!!?? Wow. That’s rad. I think this is one of my fav’s :) .

# 4: Goes to Summer Isles Hotel, Scotland

Voted one of the best hotels in Scotland, this one is situated in the north and dotted with white cottages that overlook the bay. The wild and untouched landscape that Summer Isles Hotel calls home is stunningly beautiful and a great place for food lovers, outdoor adventurers, and those seeking tranquility and peace

You can talk walking tours of the area, enjoy local boat trips, take in some fly fishing, explore the village of Ullapool, or just sit by the beach.

awww I love white cottages, sounds very…Scottish lol.

# 3: Goes to The Beach House, Barbuda

As “one of the most beautiful, relaxing places on earth,” The Beach House of Barbuda is certainly a luxury to behold.

Surrounded by natural, pink sand beaches with open air sitting areas, inviting decks encompassing large pools, plenty of nature activities to partake in, and service ambassadors to wait on your hand and foot, life just doesn’t get any better.

Wow!! Amazing, This one beats any of my favorite’s sounds very, very peaceful.

# 2: Goes to Le Meridien, Tahiti

A Starwood hotel property, the Le Meridien in Tahiti is one of the most spectacular remote hotels in the list.

Take advantage of white sand beaches, commanding mountains, adventure excursions, a Seashell Museum, and glorious waterfalls while you’re in this tropical locale. Perfect weather year-round.

I LOVE the whole “Perfect weather year-round.” sounds pretty cool.

# 1: Goes to….dun, dun, dunnnnn Amanyara, Turks and Caicos

Nestled in the Turks and Caicos of the British West Indies, the Amanyara is a sensual tropical experience on an exclusive island hideaway. Surrounded by a combination of rugged stone headlands and fine-sand alabaster beaches, this resort offers tropical vegetation, ponds, and spectacular diving.

I’ve never even heard of this place lol.

Okay so there you have it ladies :) . Which is your favorite?

My vote goes to Le Meridien, it looks gorgeous, and I’ve always wanted to go to Tahiti. Year round perfect weather? I’m in Heaven already.

@ G Did you see that movie 30 Days of Night? I think it would be cool to go at that time to, but it would feel so weird.
