Hey Girls!!

I am currently writing from California and managed to just miss the coming blizzard at home, Philadelphia.

I’ve been hearing crazy stories from extreme weather conditions around the globe. A woman on my flight to CA was stuck in London for 7 days! My dad’s flight was canceled and delayed for 3 days from Rome to Paris.

Now, all flights are canceled for New York and Philadelphia.

Do you have any crazy winter weather stories you want to share or maybe some pictures?

Blog away Ladies and happy holidays!

Maia

I’m an east coast girl born and raised…but have spent the last year and half in California. I DO NOT miss the snow, ugh and the blizzards, my mom says that home is getting slammed with snow now. The only thing the snow was good for was Snow Days/ School cancellations oh yeah! :)

Omg that is horrible. I have heard about all the snowstorms going on through Europe and all over the world. It sucks because snow is sooo dangerous.

I’m in the Northwest so I haven’t really gotten much snow. I have only had snow here in Seattle once in the time I’ve been here so I am super excited about that. I am originally from Utah, so I know how snow is (bleh) and it’s just a horrible thing which I don’t miss at all. I had my car slide and crash so many times because of snow so I am just happy to be away from that. Now all I have to deal with is rain :)

I hope everyone stays safe and if you are driving in snow, just remember to not hit the brakes hard and just slow down.

So, I went to NYC on Boxing day with my family. We drove and parked in Dyker Heights. At around 3 the wind picked up and the blizzard started. We finally made it back to Dyker Heights at 8:00. We left there at 8:30pm (after we got the snow free from the Honda Pilot) and got lost in the Bronx somewhere. Finally, at about 10:30 the next morning, after driving 30 miles an hour all night, we made it back to our home near Saratoga Springs.

that was a really crazy adventure.

OMG you would not believe how crazy it was in NYC we were going in circles in the Bronx for like three hours it was insane. I was listening to my favorite radio station the next day and i was shocked when it announced that it covered six states and eastern europe (the europe part i found out later.) But i was also shocked cuz it was a dallas fort worth radio station from texas!!! BTW I miss you guys back home!!! wow i could like live the rest of my life without seeing another snowflake lol
