G’s Back! Just in Time for Lent!
Ah, long time no talk, my lovelies! What’s crack-a-lackin’? Now, you must be wondering why G has decided to leave the cave that she has been exiled to and grace the human world with her presence. I shall tell you why! Lent!
If you do recall, I gave Starbucks up for Lent last year, as it was a serious addiction of mine at the time, and all went well there. Of course, I like to challenge myself more and more each year, so we have to go big now! Not blow up a bank big, that wouldn’t be very religious of me, now would it? Unless I started my own religion and had everyone worship me as some superior being that knew all and had people sacrifice at my alter! Muahahah!
Uhhh…Where was I? Oh, yes, Lent! So, I have been in talks with my peeps and I said that I wanted to give my Crackberry up, since I cannot think of anything else that I am super addicted to. Now, most people think that I can’t go for 40 days without my cell, while others have threatened to disown me and the other small few brought up a very good point: What about emergencies? One of my friends suggested that I give Facebook up instead, but I don’t know…What do you guys think that I should give up? I mean, you’ll be getting weekly updates on my struggles, so, what do you want to see me go insane over? Thoughts?!
P.S. If I’m going to end up in a corner rocking back and forth and eating my own hair, I think that some of you should be, too! Therefore, I challenge you to give something up for Lent, too, no matter what your religion is!

February 22, 2011Welcome back G!
If I had to choose between giving up my cell phone or facebook, I would definitely give up facebook! You NEED your cell, especially in case of emergency. Or you could disable some of the features on your phone that you are addicted to. As for other suggestions, what are somethings that you use, or do that are not essential to your survival. Things that would be a sacrifice for you to give up?
Maybe the facebook thing is a good idea. Don’t worry G you won’t have to go it alone! I have to think about what I should give up.
