Carl and Ellie’s house in the Pixar film Up has long been one of my favorite fictional homes. But fictional no more – now it’s real! A building group in Utah has replicated the house from the movie to the best of their ability, making it more functional and adding some technological conveniences along the way, such as a home theater room in the basement. It’s bright, colorful, and makes a bold statement, but it’s nevertheless a charming tribute to one of the best-reviewed movies of the last decade. How would you enjoy living in a house like this or any realization of your favorite fictional home?
