Hurricane Irene: Share your story!

As some of you may know, a pretty crazy hurricane swept the coast this past week with 120 mph winds and an estimated $10 billion in damage. In addition to monetary losses, 54 people died.

The area around me was affected by the hurricane but nowhere as bad as this. We got some fallen trees and the power was out for a few days. Some of my friends are still without power and may not get it until Saturday. I am so thankful that I wasn’t in the worse part of the storm, though. For me it was mostly an inconvenience but for many it destroyed their homes!
