Meg & Cait’s Adventures!

Hey gang! So, I (Cait) am now in Bulgaria visiting Meggie! I left on August 10th and am still here. The flight here, although I was nervous for it, went very smoothly. I had a connection in Frankfurt and they managed to loose my luggage! As out airplane was pulling away I saw my red luggage sitting on the runway with a few other various pieces of luggage. My heart sank. Girls, I have to admit, I lost it. I screamed for the stewardess… haha she probably thought I had a bomb at first. Sadly, since we had already pulled away there was nothing that she could do. I just sat there SOBBING as we flew away from all of my belongings. Hahaha pathetic!
I was sitting in the back of the plane and I had the whole row to myself! So, I sat there all alone balling. Mind you, I had been traveling since 6am, then had a 9.5 hour layover!!!! Then flew 7 hours, and was about to fly 2 more. UGH! Anyways, there was a really nice guy who saw me crying and came over to talk to me. Now, I know what you’re thinking, our mothers told us not to talk to strangers, but I made an exception. He was so sweet and made me feel 100 times better. He told me how I should go about finding my luggage, and we talked about life, etc!
Once I got there I saw Meggie waiting for me. I flew myself into her arms after having had the longest day ever. And so my adventures began!
We went to the 7 Rila Lakes, which is one of the most breathtaking things I have ever seen in my entire life. The view was amazing and the hike was incredibly hard/inspiring.
Blogs to come!

HAHA oh no that must have sucked but then again i guess you kinda benefit from your luggage incident.. If it weren’t for your luggage being left behind you wouldn’t have been able to talk to that kind “stranger” to comfort you and learn a thing or two about life! Ya know haha..

aw so sorry to hear about your luggage being lost! but that’s such a great example of how an encounter with a random stranger can sometimes be so uplifting, especially at times when you need it most. hope the rest of bulgaria is amazing! im sure it will be! :)
