What Inspires You?
Moving from the east coast to the southwest for college has been a huge change: new environment, new friends, new classes, and moving into the next chapter of my life. Through all this constant change, I realized it’s important to find consistency within myself. I’ve noticed that for me, the best consistency is to look for inspiration in different ways so that regardless of where I am or what I’m involved with, the consistency of inspiration will be there. I find inspiration in weather, when there is an unusually cool breeze on a warm night, or walking back from class and observing the crunchiness of fall leaves. A dark, starry sky illuminated by the pulsing glow of a full moon. I find inspiration in music, a certain melody, or lyrics that resonate with what I’m experiencing. A good conversation with anyone, from stranger to friend. A quote, a documentary, or writing on a log strewn across a modest stream.
What inspires you? What is the role of inspiration in your life?

hmm… a conversation filled with laughter, a warm scarf to snuggle up in when I’m shy, my family, and my goals.
